First PR: Just something small to get me familiar with the codebase

for large scale configuration some object that can handle error cases in one place and guarantee a valid value would be good.

Im not really looking for code contributions at the moment, but I will make an exception for this one as its of course pretty minor.

Please add the new env vars to the two docker-compose files too and maybe rename the save interval var to make the unit self documenting. Something like OXIDE_SAVE_EVERY_SECS or similar
